“Borderless Borders” An Exhibition on Peace, Dialogue, and Humanity

“Borderless Borders,” a calligraphy exhibition featuring works by Atefeh Noushavand, opens on Thursday, May 8, 2025 (18 Ordibehesht 1404) at the ECO Cultural Institute in Tehran. Centered on the concept of global peace, the exhibition aims to transcend geographical, linguistic, and cultural boundaries and invites viewers to reflect on shared human values.

The opening ceremony, starting at 3:00 PM on Thursday, will also include the unveiling of the book Naqsh-o-Qalam (The Stroke and the Pen). The program will start with the welcome speech by Dr. Saad Khan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute, alongside the presence of renowned calligraphy masters such as Mr. Ali Shirazi and Mr. Ali Ashraf Sandoogh Abadi, will elevate the event into a space for cultural and spiritual dialogue.

The exhibition is curated by Ms. Dorna Hamidi, a graduate of Sorbonne University in France. With an intercultural perspective, she redefines borders not as barriers but as opportunities for connection and empathy.

Visitors are welcome from May 8 to May 25, daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, at the ECO Cultural Institute (No. 10, Movahed Danesh Alley, Bagher-al-Nemr St., Aqdasiyeh, Tehran).
