The message of Dr. Saad Khan, President ECO Cultural Institute, on the occasion of Ordebehesht 1st, the day of commemoration of Saadi
Among the distinguished figures of the ECO region, Saadi Shirazi (1210–1291) holds a special place. He has been given the title “Master of Speech.” Saadi’s works are expressed in a way that remains valuable to different generations. He presents a blend of wisdom, humor, love, humanity, and ethics. His language was simple and fluent, making even the most complex ideas easy to understand. Saadi’s works are filled with moral and social messages, cleverly woven into poetry and prose, guiding humanity toward truth and salvation.
The secret of his enduring work lies in his ability to connect with his audience in any time and place. He was not only the voice of the people of his time, but he continues to be a source of inspiration and thought for us. His works are valuable beyond time and place. He was able to express human concepts in the simplest and most beautiful way.
Saadi was not only a poet and writer, but also a capable sociologist and psychologist of his time. With his unique skill, he was able to express eternal human values in the form of literature, which has made him always remain a familiar and inspiring voice.
As the head of the Eco Cultural Institute, I congratulate all the people of the Eco region on this glorious day and I hope that we can use his works in our lives.
