ECI and Tehran ICH Centre Forge Cultural Bonds: Collaborative Initiatives Unveiled
In a significant step toward strengthening cultural ties, Dr. Saad S. Khan, President of the ECO Cultural Institute, met with Dr. Atoosa Momeni, Director General of the Tehran Intangible Cultural Heritage Centre on August 27, 2024 at the ICH Centre.
During the session, three key issues related to future cooperation were discussed. The ECI and the Tehran ICH Centre explored the possibility of organizing an exhibition featuring the remarkable artworks of the artist Ahad Saadi. The collection, known as "Azarnegari," will be showcased in Türkiye, providing a platform for cross-cultural exchange and appreciation. 
Also, both parties discussed preparations for holding "Intangible Cultural Heritage Night of Iran-Pakistan". The event scheduled to be held in coming months will highlight traditional practices, rituals, and artistic expressions that bind the two nations. 
Finally, the ECI offered collaboration with the ICH Center in organizing a cultural night dedicated to Kazakhstan. This event aims to foster understanding and appreciation of Kazakhstan's intangible cultural heritage, emphasizing its unique traditions and customs.
