International Seminar of the Book, the Borderless Ambassador along with Unveiling Ceremony of the books written by the authors of the ECO region, was held at ECI.
The international Seminar of the Book, the Borderless Ambassador was held in collaboration with ECI Institute and Iran Book and Literature House, Book TV channel, Iran Book News Agency and academic centers of ECO region, on Wednesday, November 27 at the ECI.
In this meeting, which was held on the occasion of Book Week, Book Reading and Librarian’s Day, the collective books of the authors from Iran, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan, which were recently published by “ECI Publications” and “Khardegan Publications” and “Fasel Panjom Publications”, were unveiled.
In this Seminar, the Cultural authorities, related associations, publishers, university professors and book activists were present, and the meeting was inaugurated with an online speech of Dr. Saad Khan, Honorable President of ECI.
Dr. Saad Khan during his speech emphasized the importance of libraries as heirs of human civilization and said: “The cultural and civilizational heritage of the people of the ECO region is full of great books that have always been the pride of the world community”.
In continuation of this meeting, some of the participants presented speeches regarding: “the role of researchers and bibliographers of the ECO member countries in strengthening friendship and introducing their cultural and civilizational heritage at the international arena”; “the relation of civilization with book and calligraphy “; “the effect of book on convergence of the people of the region” and “the excellence of culture and convergence”.
This program was aired from Book TV Channel, and was accompanied by the performance of Hor and Naqali musical instruments by the music group and poetry reading by the selected group of children and youth from Ferdowsi Foundation.
