Nomination Process

– The nomination form is available online on the ECI website at www.ecieco.org

– The individual entrants are welcome to fill in the online form and upload entries themselves.

-The nominations can also be done, on behalf of the candidates, by the Ministry of Culture or national cultural organization or equivalent body of each ECO member state provided that all the required information in respect of each candidate is uploaded on the e-portal. There is no bar on the number of entries a member government may submit, or the online entries directly received from each country, however, there will be only One Award for each country.

-The diplomatic missions of all member states accredited to ECO, and based in Tehran, are also entitled to submit any number of nominations, provided that all the required information in respect of each candidate is uploaded on the above e-portal.

Publicity for the Award:

The Ministries of Culture, national cultural bodies and the corresponding organizations of the ECO member states may circulate the ECO Youth Award widely to encourage widest participation from eligible entrants. The flyers may be displayed prominently in cultural bodies, arts centers, museums and departments of fine arts and digital arts in universities of the member states as well as on the websites of all the above named national bodies.

The ECI will do its upmost to publicize the award through its website, its social media handles, by emails and by periodic press releases to the news agencies, television channels and the newspapers.

Award Committee:

The Award Committee is headed by the President/Executive Director of the ECI, and comprising the Cultural Attachés or representatives nominated by each member state will select one winner from each member state by unanimity of members present.

Award Specification and Ceremony

The ECO Youth Award consists of a cash prize of USD 1,000, a certificate, and a trophy for each winner. The award is presented during a ceremony (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) on occasions such as ECO Day or ECI Day.
