Tajik Ambassador Praises Publication of Book “ECO Diplomatic Library, a Mirror of the Harmonization among ECO Nations”

Dr. Nizomiddin Zohidi, Honorable Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Iran, while praising the publication of the Book ” ECO Diplomatic Library, a Mirror of Harmonization among ECO Nations” by the ECO Cultural Institute, considered library activities in different periods as the most important and significant method in transferring experiences to future generations and requested for its continuation.
During a meeting with Dr. Aslani, Director of the Diplomatic Library of the ECO Cultural Institute on March 13, 2025, Dr. Nizomiddin Zohidi stated that the contents of the aforementioned book are a clear account of the activities of the library sector in cooperation with the literary figures of the member countries.
During this meeting, Dr. Aslani conveyed Dr. Saad Khan’s warmest greetings to the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan and appreciated Dr. Zohidi’s cooperation with the ECO Cultural Institute Library over the past years.
According to the same report, Dr. Zohidi in the introduction part of this book had said: “Since its establishment, the ECO Cultural Institute Library has tried to make the written heritage and preserved cultural documents available and thus to open a new window of cooperation in the field of library exchanges and cultural interactions.”
Dr. Saad Khan also in a part of the introduction of this book, emphasized that: “The ECO Cultural Institute has been active and dynamic in introducing the cultural and artistic heritage of member countries, and act as a reliable bridge of friendship between ECO nations, and the most important task of the library in this regard is to preserve the written historical and cultural heritage, as well as the lasting relics of past and future generations.”
It is worth noting that the above-mentioned book, consists of 8 chapters, along with tables, charts, and images, compiled with the help of Dr. Zahra Aslani on 216 pages, and was published in 2025 by the ECO Cultural Institute.
This book is an attempt to present the work of the Diplomatic Library of the ECO Cultural Institute and its achievements from 2019 to 2024, and it indicates the dynamism and convergence of activities carried out in the context of develop reading during this period of time.
