The ECO Cultural Institute organizes: A ceremony honoring Professor Saeed Nafisi and the unveiling of the book “Saeed Nafisi in Eight Narratives”

The ECO Cultural Institute will host the ceremony to commemorate Professor Saeed Nafisi and unveil the book “Saeed Nafisi in Eight Narratives”, (second edition) authored by Mr. Peyman Talebi.
According to the information center of the ECO Cultural Institute, this event will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2025 (corresponding to Khordad 25, 1404) at the ECO Cultural Institute Hall. It will feature speeches from the President of the ECO Cultural Institute, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran, as well as scholars from Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Tajikistan.
Saeed Nafisi (1895–1966) was an Iranian linguist, Persian literature researcher, historian, writer, translator, and poet. He was among the first generation of professors at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Literature at the University of Tehran. Nafisi authored and translated over 120 works in the fields of literature and Iranian studies. He also edited and published important Persian texts, including Tarikh-e Giti Gosha, Tarikh-e Masoudi, Dastur al-Vozara, and the poetry collections of Anvari, Rashid Watwat, Ohadi Maraghehi, Nezami, Khayyam, and others.
The performance will conclude with the Choral Band, conducted by Arash Fallahi, presenting a selection of Iranian folk songs and classical compositions.
