The Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth of Kyrgyzstan welcomes the promotion of cooperation with ECI

During the meeting of Dr. Saad Khan, the President of ECI, with Ms. Gulbara Kadyrbekovna Abdykalykova, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth, it was agreed to further expand cooperation and collaboration between the two organizations.
This meeting was held at the invitation of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth on January 16, 2025 in the Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek.
During this meeting, Dr. Saad Khan, after presenting precise explanations about the activities of ECI in 2024, stated that: “We are considering certain programs to be implemented in the Gallery, Library and international Conference Hall of the ECI, in the beginning of 2025 with the cooperation of the countries of the ECO region”.
Mrs. Golbara Abdi Kalikwa also welcomed Dr. Saad Khan and announced the readiness of Kyrgyzstan’s cultural institutions to host joint cultural and artistic programs in the current new year and hold similar programs in Kyrgyzstan. Mrs. Golbara Abdi Kalikwa welcomed the proposals of Dr. Saad Khan for joint cooperation and said: “there is appropriate possibility for cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Information, sports, and youth of Kyrgyzstan and the ECI.”
During this meeting the both sides exchanged views regarding continuation and promotion of joint programs such as: holding training workshops for teaching languages of the ECO member countries, holding scientific webinars with the participation of the professors of the ECO regions, holding art exhibitions, and jointly print, publish and translate books and magazines.
