Trip of the President of ECI to Kyrgyzstan
During Mr. Saad Khan’s trip to Kyrgyzstan, the cooperation capacities between the ECI and Kyrgyzstan were reviewed
His Excellency Dr. Saad Khan, Honorable President of the ECI, paid an official visit to Bishkek from January 15, to 18, 2025, and met with the cultural and art officials of Kyrgyzstan, in order to examine and review the cooperation capacities existing between the ECI and Kyrgyzstan, which is one of the ten members of the Economic Cooperation Organization of ECO.
During this trip, Dr. Saad Khan had separate meetings with Ms. Gulbara Kadyrbekovna Abdykalykova, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jyldyz Kemelovna Bakashova, Director of the National Historical Museum of Kyrgyzstan, and Ms. Ainura Almasbekovna Askarova, Director of the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic, and was informed about the latest cultural, artistic, social, historical and scientific achievements of this country, and reciprocally he talked with the Kyrgyz cultural authorities and officials about the programs and capacities of the ECI.
Dr. Saad Khan also met and talked with His Excellency Mr. Hasan Ali Zaigham, Honorable Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Bishkek and His Excellency Mr. Ahmet Sadik Dogan, Honorable Ambassador of Türkiye to Bishkek, and during these meetings, he exchanged views regarding development and expansion of joint cultural programs in 2025 at the ECI.
During this trip, Dr. Saad Khan also met with Mr. Abuzar Toughani, Iran’s cultural Attaché in Bishkek.
Dr. Saad Khan, who has considered the maximum familiarity with the cultural capacities of ECO member countries as one of his main programs at ECI, during this three-day trip to Kyrgyzstan, visited the cultural and artistic centers of Bishkek, including the Persian Literature Center of Ferdowsi, the National Museum of History, National Library, and the National Music Academy in Bishkek, and was very pleased to visit very diverse parts of these cultural centers.
considering the fact that most of the cultural and artistic officials of Kyrgyzstan were women, Dr. Saad Khan congratulated the high ranking authorities of Kyrgyzstan on their good choice and praised this action.
Dr. Saad Khan, who has decided that during his tenure as the President of the ECI, to make many trips to the ECO member countries and thus pave the ground for further cooperation with the member countries, has also appreciated the special cooperation of the Embassy of Pakistan at Bishkek.
It should be noted that Ms. Shabnam Tariqati and Ms. Zahra Aslani, experts from ECI, accompanied Dr. Saad Khan during this trip to Kyrgyzstan.
